Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply when our customers sign up to Doglets and when customers make any booking with Doglets

Agreement
-
I agree to the following terms and conditions for provision of Doglets services, which apply both at the time of enrolment and each time I book a service with Doglets.
-
Services provided by Doglets include dog walking, day care, home visits / sitting, boarding and anything else agreed between me and Doglets.
-
If more than one dog is involved, these terms and conditions apply to each dog separately.
-
By enrolling my dog or booking any Doglets service, I confirm that I am the legal owner of the dog and I assume all risks, dangers and responsibility for injuries to the named dog.
-
My dog will always wear a suitable collar with an identity tag and has been microchipped. I will provide microchip information to Doglets and understand that it is my responsibility to keep it up to date.
Behaviour of my dog -
Doglets will not accept any dog that shows any signs of any type of aggression, and the decision of Doglets in this regard is final. I confirm my dog is friendly to other dogs and humans and shows no aggression.
-
I understand that the behaviour of my dog is my responsibility, and that if my dog bites or harms any other dog or human, I could be required to compensate other dog owners, Doglets or Doglets staff.
-
I understand that I will be required to make alternative arrangements if my dog demonstrates aggression or other behaviour unacceptable to Doglets staff, and that no refunds will be provided if my dog is aggressive.
Health of my dog -
My dog is fit and healthy and is capable of play and exercise with other dogs unless I have made Doglets aware. My dog has current vaccinations including kennel cough vaccine and regular effective treatment for worms, ticks and fleas. I have checked my dog thoroughly to ensure that no fleas or ticks are present. I agree to provide my dog’s vaccine record to Doglets on request.
-
My dog does not have any condition which could potentially jeopardise the health of any other dog or people, and has not had any communicable condition within 21 days prior to provision of any Doglets service. I understand that even if my dog is vaccinated there is a chance that kennel cough or other diseases can still be contracted, that this is outside the control of Doglets and that Doglets will not be held responsible.
-
I will advise Doglets if my female dog is in season or has recently finished or likely to start and Doglets may refuse to take bookings for an in-season dog. Doglets staff will walk an in-season dog on the lead and not mix un-neutered male dogs which are under Doglets care. Doglets is not responsible for other male dogs which are not under our care and is not responsible or liable for any pregnancy of any female dog under our care.
-
I understand that while Doglets staff monitor my dog while providing services, and do their best to avoid injury to my dog, my dog may sustain accidental injuries during provision of Doglets services. Neither Doglets nor its employees accept responsibility for the death, injury or illness of any dog in Doglets care unless it was caused by the deliberate act or recklessness of Doglets staff. Doglets advises you to insure your dog for all eventualities.
-
I understand that Doglets will always act in the best interests of my dog’s health should it become ill or injured. I will provide accurate emergency contact information and ensure that this is kept up to date. If I am unable to be contacted, I authorise Doglets to obtain advice from a vet at my expense. Doglets will follow advice from the vet. I agree to cover any veterinary fees pertaining to my dog and either have appropriate insurance or the resources to pay for the vet fees.
Provision of Doglets services -
I understand that Doglets will take my dog to public places when walking, which are not fenced or otherwise contained. I confirm that my dog can be let off the lead on walks, unless I have requested otherwise. My dog will respond to its name and will return when called. I accept the risk that if my dog does not respond to calls, it may become lost or stolen.
-
My dog can travel within the Doglets van with another dog or dogs. I accept that there are risks inherent with road travel and that Doglets are not responsible for death or injury of my dog in a road traffic accident.
-
If access to my property is required in order to pick up or drop off my dog, I will provide keys and alarm codes. I confirm that I have all appropriate insurances and that Doglets is not responsible if there is any loss or damage to my property. Doglets charges still apply if access is not possible in order to provide Doglets services.
-
I will provide all items necessary for my dog to be adequately cared for in my absence, including food, leads, tags and collars, harnesses, etc. Poo bags will be supplied by Doglets. If my dog requires any additional supplies while with Doglets, I will pay for these.
-
I accept that my dog might be taken to places where it will be exposed to the outside and may become dirty. Doglets does not provide grooming services. If my dog requires towelling off after walks, towels must be provided and left at the point of entry to my house.
Payment terms -
I agree that unless otherwise agreed, all Doglets services bookings shall be paid for by credit or debit card in advance on the Doglets website. If any costs are incurred during provision of services (such as vet fees) these shall be invoiced separately and are payable within 7 days.
-
I agree that cancellation of Doglets services requires at least 7 days’ prior notice, in which case a full refund shall be given. If less than 7 days but more than 48 hours’ notice is provided, 50% of the fee shall be retained by Doglets. If less than 48 hours’ notice of cancellation is provided then the full fees shall be retained by Doglets. This includes if my dog is unable to attend through illness.
-
No refund shall be payable if services are cancelled owing to extreme weather or other circumstances outside the control of Doglets. Doglets shall not be liable for any indirect costs associated with the cancellation of a booking.
Other terms -
I confirm that I take responsibility for any vet fees or other costs which may be incurred, as a result of any damage, accident, or sickness caused to or by my dog and will pay any such costs or expenses on demand. Doglets shall not be liable for any such costs or any other costs associated with the provision of Doglets’ services.
-
I agree that nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit or exclude Doglets’ liability for death or personal injury to a human being caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or anything else that cannot by law be excluded.
-
I agree that the name, images and video of my dog may be used in Doglets promotional materials. I agree that the Doglets privacy policy shall apply to the relationship between me and Doglets.
-
These terms and conditions are the whole agreement between me and Doglets. No other agreements, promises, undertakings or representations affect this. These terms and conditions may be varied by Doglets posting a new version on its website, which varied terms and conditions shall apply to subsequent bookings.
-
If any part of these terms and conditions are illegal or unenforceable, that part shall be deemed deleted. If Doglets waive any term or condition, only that term or condition is waived; it does not affect the agreement going forwards or apply the same waiver subsequently.
-
Contact details for Doglets are provided on the Doglets website. I agree that my contact details are as provided through the Doglets website or subsequently communicated to Doglets. Notices can be delivered by post or email. Letters shall be deemed delivered 2 business days following posting. Emails shall be deemed delivered at 9am the following business day.
